I guess the cache isn&#039;t supported trough the hardlink that was created by the Windows (as host). But using the Host cache bypasses the Linux OS cache and make it work.]]></description>

I&#039;m not sure, but it could be something to do with VirtualBox using the administrator windows profile, rather than your own. I&#039;d suggest you try this:
&lt;ol&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Find the path to the .vbox file by opening VirtualBox as you normally would, then right clicking on the VM and choosing &quot;Show in Explorer&quot;&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Open VirtualBox as an administrator, then click on the &quot;Machine&quot; menu, then &quot;Add&quot;, then find the .vbox file in the location you found in the previous step.&lt;/li&gt;
